He might be on the block.  I read somewhere that the Astros might be interested.  Not sure if it was a solid rumor or wistful thinking.

I did see, and I believe, that he would demand an extension to agree to a trade.

I’ll tell you what, there were glimpses of this in his last start, but Harvey is really making some good pitches with good command.

I’d rather see whoever is healthy at AAA. Granted that’s not many of them but whomever.

Or, any right now. Besides that, the reality is it’s not happening on this team, this year. Not only have the candidates crapped the bed when presented with an opportunity, Elias isn’t rushing anyone right now unless they’ve proven themselves. And that has not happened.

My brother , a recently retired career police officer,  who is now fully recovered from Covid but was in the ICU and watching the Means nohitter, is at the game tonight as guest of John Means and Os! 
He got lovely phone calls from Jim Palmer and from Brooks and a Brooks art print all of which were facilitated  by our own Roy Firestone to whom we are eternally grateful! …
