What's it say about Baltimore that people just automatically assume everyone who lives there knows The Wire by heart?

If we don't get 1:1, I'm okay with it as long as we've ruined Boston's season.  I will slowly sip Sox fans tears with a smile on my face.

**** New England and their sports.

You don't sip chowdah.

I had actually never seen it until I binged the entire series during 2020 Covid house arrest.

At this point, I wouldn't mind spoiling Toronto's chances as well.  But, if we lose tonight and Arizona wins, I will shift gears on a dime and say, let's just get swept and hope for another Dbacks win, lol!!

I really can't characterize the feeling as "exciting" but it's better than many alternatives.  Ryan Mountcastle going yard on Pivetta was orgasmic for a guy without a prostate*, however!

* @Tony-OH btw - had the prostatectomy and it went well, all things considered.  Had cancer, as many of we old farts do there including many of my surviving friends, but nothing further discovered yet (lymph nodes clear).  PSA tests to come in December and June to follow up.

While you directed this to Tony, it's good to hear some good news.  Wishing you the best.

Wait a min - did you mean "olde"?  Get your PSA's yearly boys!  I failed to the past two years and it got me!  I've been walking since they removed the catheter (?).  Today I plan to play just a few holes walking to see how everything reacts.  So all good!

Just about everybody I know has had prostate cancer, I remember what the doctor said, “you’re not going to die from prostate cancer, but you may well die with prostate cancer.” And what he meant was that it’s relatively easy to treat and not an incredibly big deal. I’m not trying to make light of your situation, I’m sure it will be mine in the next six months, just trying to share some positive spin.
