Time for this offense to wake up.  It’s been awhile since they put up a deserved crooked number.  A lot of the higher scoring efforts lately have been significantly aided by poor oppositional defensive play.

Lyles got luck and defense and still gave up the 6 runs.  An F performance by Lyles.  He couldn't have even gotten out of it with 3 run deficit and let the bullpen try and hold it there.

Not sure who does advanced scouting of the Rays for the O’s but it really gets old seeing guys hitting.190 hammering shots into the gap.  Chang in the first game is the prime example.  Is it a failure of scouting or just poor pitch execution.  Probably both but it seems like it bites us against the Rays more often.
