That’s ridiculous.  Three pitches called balls should have been called strikes.  Palmer was correct.

I think the Yankees catcher is doing a poor job. He's jerking his mitt back over the plate and making the ump think the pitch is outside. If he leaves his mitt in place he probably gets the call.
