Alex Manoah just hit California's Ward in the face causing blood.

Looked like a pretty bad hit.  It did not seem intentional in my opinion as much as I dislike Manoah it seemed an accident.   Ward being taken off in a cart.  He is alert.  But it might be his nose and jaw area.

Looked like it glanced off the helmet to me.  The ball might have hit him in the face area but could just be the impact of the ball hitting the helmet and the helmet impacting his face.

Ended up going to the hospital with facial fractures. I hope he has a speedy recovery, that's a lot of ouch.
