I look at this for how far he's come in just 1 season. I think it's amazing progress. At the beginning, who would have predicted he would come in 4th in the voting for the Cy Young Award? There were board members here who tried to tell me he wouldn't get any votes when we were already half way through the season. I'm just happy to see him get some votes and begin to be recognized. But more than that, I'm happy to see his performances all throughout the season be so good, and I'm excited to see him to continue to grow and get even better in the years to come. Keep in mind, he was a rookie just 1 season ago in 2022.

Now that he's made the list and gotten some nation wide attention, he will get even more recognition if he continues to perform at this level or better. And the Orioles will keep on winning.
