Mullins is an absolute idiot for running there. And that is before the run was potentially an issue. Never go to 3rd with 0 or 2 outs unless 100% sure you will get there

And the play in front of him.  At least get in a rundown. Send him down.

Mullins should get punished by the Kangaroo Court tonight.  He should have to pay for everyone's dinner.  Man that was NOT a smart play.  Kind of surprised because Mullins is usually pretty solid on the mental side of things.

Agreed. And it's not the first time he's made a bad decision on the base path. So dumb.

What did you think of Gunnar’s earlier two out steal of 3B?  Honestly, if Devers was awake he might have been out.  The pitcher bounced the ball because Devers didn’t get to the bag quickly.

No idea why in the world with the play in front of you that happens.

He must have assumed the throw would be directly to  the plate, as it usually would be on a shallow single to left at Fenway.

When he went around second, I thought he was deliberately going to to draw a rundown to make sure Mounty scored, but nope, that was the opposite.

Yeah. He assumed. Not that it really matters but Gunnar was on deck.
