Lefties throw away from the body to first -- to their left -- which results in a much weaker throw most of the time.  And like someone else said double plays would be nearly impossible.

If you're right handed, take some grounders and throw to third base as if it were first base.  That's what it feels like for lefties to throw to first on a regular basis.

The question is whether Kimbrel will be used. My guess with Cano pitching now, he very well could get the 9th if it's still a save opportunity.
