Ryan Watson Traded?

Has to be Snell.  lol.   It not him but will be interesting if they do put him on waivers to try and save some money since he most likely opts out.  They are hanging on by a thread for a playoff spot so in few weeks they might realize they out and try to save money.  There was a few guys that changed teams last year when their team fell out of it.  Mostly the White Sox players but few others.

The trade deadline is passed and there is no waiver trade deadline.

You can still put people on waivers and then let a team claim them.   Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, Harrison Bader, Grichuk, Matt Moore and Hunter Renferoe all were acquired after the deadline this year just to name few.  If a team falls out and can save a few million in makes sense.  Snell probably won’t because of the option but I could see Scherzer or other higher priced guys put on waivers, it will just depend what team wants to cover the remaining salary.

So is Watson part of a trade that had been completed previously? I'm confused.

You can still trade minor leaguers, so long as they have not been on the 40 man roster at any point this season.

Well considering the Orioles and Giants did not make a trade anytime this year I can't  how.. Maybe the Orioles got Yaz back that would be cool. Lol. He turned out to be decent player for SF

I didn’t realize Cash Considerations had any options remaining, with all the trades he’s been in.

I wonder why they don't go after International Slot Money.
