I said it last year and I'll say it again. Be careful what you wish for in praying for KC. Everyone wanted TEX last year. Who cares who they play, just win. They can beat any team, everyone here is terrified of DET.

I’ll take Det over KC

Well you can't blame us. Let's face it KC seems to have Bmore number. Between the  Royals beating the favorite Orioles in 2014 and the Chiefs keep beating the Ravens myself I have a complex with KC. Lol.

People are hoping we don't play the big scary Tigers because they beat our B team 2-4 in the past 10 days. They want KC. Hence, be careful what you wish for.

Well the Orioles did drop 4 out 6 without facing Skubal but otherwise I see your point. For me I'm torn. In some ways I still think KC may be the better team. The tigers don't have anyone in their lineup  remotely close to Witt and Perez and even though Detroit has the best pitcher in the game but to me KC looks like they have the better rotation.

It looks to me like KC is happy to rest and get ready for the Astros with the way they used Witt.

The White Sox actually have something to play for...with a win they avoid the worst winning percentage of the 162-game era, although 41-121 is not a lot better than 40-120.  To bad it looks like Detroit can back in at this point with the Braves much more motivated than the Royals.
