Agreed, looking forward to seeing what Suarez can do back there. -
Problem is he's going to start to pout if he's not getting the save opportunities. He's obsessed with the all-time save list. Getting Kimbrel may have looked good at the time but it was a bad decision by Elias. It was uncharacteristic and bad. He is no longer an every-day closer, he's expensive, and he will probably create clubhouse problems if he's demoted. -
Ridiculous defense tonight by Mateo and Gunnar -Mateo backed up a ball thrown past Mountcastle to get India at 2nd on a perfect throw; India himself was in complete disbelief he was out -Bottom 6th Stuart Fairchild tried to lead off the inning with a bunt base hit but Means did a great job getting to it and his spin throw got Fairchild out -Gunnar flew in the air to snag a sharp high liner hit by Encarnacion-Strand (7th inning) -Then in the 8th with Perez looking real shaky, he was able to get a grounder in which Gunnar turned a beautiful unassisted DP -
He might lead the league in HRs surrendered. Elly gets to bat LH. Sounds like a bad mix. -
Adley with his fifth dinger and a 3 for 4 night tonight. He didn’t homer in the first 12 games, so that’s 5 in the last 20. 4 of the 5 from the right side of the plate.
