What is a Shuuto? is it the same funky pitch Dice-K throw? it varies in speeds from 82.19-90.62...am i missing something here? how can the same pitch vary so much in speed?

Thanks crissfan, the varying range in speed (-8.43 diff.) at which he throws the same pitch had me wondering what it was. Guess i will be keeping a close eye on this Shuuto come spring training and beyond.

Shuuto is shoot pronounce in Japanese. The path of shootball is between 2-seam fastball and screwball, like a reverse silder. (sometimes it includes sinking fastball in Japan.)
