If he keeps going like this *knocks on wood* he'll have been a very good return piece in the Miguel Tejada trade, added to the four years we got from Luke Scott and one good season from Matt Albers.

Troy Patton isn't really talked about much but the guy keeps bringing it. So far 28 strikes and 6 balls.

If he keeps going like this *knocks on wood* he'll have been a very good return piece in the Miguel Tejada trade, added to the four years we got from Luke Scott and one good season from Matt Albers.

The Tejada trade never happens without Patton coming to Baltimore. AM required him in the deal, despite injury concerns. Those injury concerns were well founded, but this guy can really pitch. To me, he is the Jewel of that trade, both then and now.

Very glad for Patton. His career was close to the brink but he took his oppurtunity and turned it into a bright long future as a quality ML reliever.
