Along with Frobby I won't debate whether he deserves this or not. I'm just going to say congrats, Chris!

He's not an All-Star caliber pitcher, but with the rules today, particularly the size of rosters and the rule that all starters who throw on Sunday have to be replaced, it doesn't take as much as it used to in order to make the All-Star game.

But yes, Tillman deserves congratulations for the work he's put in and the improvements he's made over the last two seasons.

I suspect Leyland will save him as a potential long man if the game goes into extra innings, and I'm fine with that.

He had decent information he just wasn't aggressive enough.

This is true, but I think a lot of it is that he really doesn't know his stuff well enough to get the points across effectively.

I can't make an eating joke about him, because he did make a concerted effort to decrease his body fat % and get himself into better shape this offseason.

Yep, I remember as a kid being thrilled every time I saw an Oriole being introduced at the ASG.

I don't know why I qualified that, I'm still thrilled.

I used love the AS game as a kid. Haven't watched one in years.
