ChrisP
You're going to the game, and I'm not ???You bastard. My original post should have said Ned.. not "New Yost". If anyone else is actually reading a Royals thread, I'm sure they know that. Yes, free tickets, free food, a Royals t-shirt, AND a chance to see the Royals move into first place...couldn't pass it up.

Barnaby Graves
This will easily be the story of the year if they win the division. Especially after the Tigers got Price. Wow.
Palmoripken
This will easily be the story of the year if they win the division. Especially after the Tigers got Price. Wow. I'm honestly conflicted. I don't want to face a red hot KC team making the playoffs for the first time in 29 years but the Tigers on paper are the more scary team. It's a nice story though. LOL at the Tigers though.

SouthRider
Here is a fun fact. Starting from the Royals existence in 1969 all the way up to 1985, either the Royals or Orioles made the playoffs every year except for 1972, 1975, and 1982. That's 14 out of 17 years. And yet the two franchises never made the playoffs in the same year. Pretty amazing considering how good both teams were in the 70's and early 80's

Wonder how things would have gone had we went up against them. They had some good players. Always liked Brett.
backwardsk
Maybe keeping Shields at the deadline wasn't a bad idea after all.

25 Nuggets
My opinion on whether or not I like other clubs at this point is boiling down to "can you beat the Yankees for me?" I can understand that the White Sox are a bad ball club... but tonight, KC is letting me down.
