5 > 2.3. How could it be anything but. It's odd that more teams don't call this kind of bluff. The team's risk is significantly mitigated by the do over they get next year. Sure, they lose a development year, but if a guy's demands are unreasonable it makes sense to establish a precedent.

It wasn't a financial decision for Aiken. I respect that.
