Two options if you're worried about the safety of your family. Which is reasonable leaving any night game. Go on to stubhub and by a parking pass to the game to one of the close lots. If you do park in a lot that is far away then just exit the stadium on the LF side of Eutaw St and get an Uber to drive you to your car. I use Uber all the time in the city. For 5-6 dollars its almost worth not having to make the walk back to your car anyway.

Pratt/Penn garage for $9 is always a good back up plan. Lots of people walking back that way after the game. It's a perfectly pleasant, short walk, and if you let the crowd clear out a little beforehand, it's not too bad getting out and on your way.

Another option is to park along the Light Rail and then take the Light Rail in. I do this regularly. My car is perfectly safe at a Light Rail station and I avoid the huge parking fees. The Light Rail has been perfectly safe during the whole period.
