I'm surprised to hear that the Mets have more fans out tonight than Baltimore. Even the Yankees don't outdraw the O's fans. Walking through the Inner Harbor right now and there aren't more Mets fans walking about than the usual out of towners for any other team.

Looks like it is an organized effort.

Out of town fans are the ones likely to show up an hour before game time. Let us know how it looks by the 3rd/4th inning. I'm sure there will be lots of Mets fans there -- it's the first time in a while their team has been worth traveling to see.

Wow. I think an ass kicking is in order tonight. On the field of course.

This.

We got down there at 5pm for BP yesterday and I said "damn, there are lot of A's fans here" -- by 645, it was next to impossible to find any except the group behind the dugout.

Given the country's obesity rate it doesn't take many fans to hit the ton mark.

Fixed that for ya! :)

BTW, I'm not a big fan of the "Invasion" of other team's parks. Show up, wear your team's colors, cheer for 'em, but no need to go the extra obnoxious mile and put up the "BALTIMORE IS STEELER COUNTRY!" nonsense... Someone wearing a BALTIMORE INVASION shirt to the game tonight is kinda asking for trouble. Not from me - I'm not a drinker - but there may be O's fans who over-imbibe who may be less than thrilled at another team's fans proclaiming an "invasion"... especially if the Birds are losing.
