The way Andrew Miller IMMEDIATELY walked into the dugout holding his wrist, it's safe to say that this is a big concern. Stay tuned.

I believe Yankee fans are holding their breath, since Chapman is suspended for the beginning of the season.

A bone chip on x-ray often means that a ligament was pulled off the bone, taking a piece of the bone with it. It is a bad circumstance if the ligament has pulled off a bone chip and the x-ray shows it to be separated by a distance from the bone, because in this case the ligament/bone chip cannot ever heal back to the bone without surgery, and the associated joint is apt to be lax and pop, clunk, grind, or be painfully unstable

Thankfully for Miller's sake it wasn't his left wrist. Still, the Yankees bullpen to start the season looks surprisingly thin. The losses of Justin Wilson and Adam Warren will be felt more now.

CL - Dellin Betances

8th - Chasen Shreve

7th - Nick Rumbelow?

...and I have no idea beyond that. We've got Bryan Mitchell, Tyler Olson, Branden Pinder, Jacob Lindgren. Young arms at least. But they need Chapman and Miller ASAP.

Chapman is gone for 30 Games. Miller could play with a cast and not field in May. If there is surgery to reattach a ligament longer.

Chapman got 30 games; not 40. He can work out the the team's Florida facility during the suspension. Miller said he will play through the injury and said, "I don't need my right hand" , and if a doctor tells him he can't pitch he'll find another doctor. The team will still have him see a specialist.

Oh, and he plans on being ready for Opening Day, FWIW.
