We'll see if Archer gets the same calls, doubt it. Umps take reputation into account and he's a cy young candidate according to baseball analysts.

Don't bring him back out next inning. If not for those crappy calls by the umpire he would have had a fantastic 5 innings without a run scored. Good game Gausman, the team really needed that. Can't wait for him to get in shape and go the distance

What's funny is that with all of this instant replay/let's get every call right world we live in now, the most logical and least controversial (as far as getting the right call) thing to do is to employ a questek type of strike zone. It's pretty silly when you think about it. Umpire stands behind home plate simply because of tradition really.
