Really impressed with Gausman for 4 2/3. Not impressed with him falling apart after not getting a couple calls.

He was fading fatigue wise as well, but yes he also seemed shaken at the bad calls. Gotta have the mental toughness to stay focused.

Don't bring him back out next inning. If not for those crappy calls by the umpire he would have had a fantastic 5 innings without a run scored. Good game Gausman, the team really needed that. Can't wait for him to get in shape and go the distance

Sad though, at some point a starting pitcher has to go 7 IP, but this being his first outing back I think you're right.

Yea I think we just saw our guy who will go 6-7 consistently once he gets his legs under him, and gets strikes called by the umpire [emoji6]
