Drew Pomeranz is NOT an answer the O's should even consider (Red Sox)

It's the main reason I don't like mid season trades for a playoff push. It could end up bad on two fronts.

If this team is going anywhere it will have to come from the current players. There isn't any trade out there that will make the offense better, or replace3 pitchers.

(SEPTEMBER 18th)

Pomeranz was KO'd early in the game back-to-back times in his last 2 outings, once by the Orioles, and once by the Yankees.

That's good for the Orioles, especially if the Yankees can hang on for the win tonight.

Next time try a reverse jinx! The Yankee bullpen is in tatters.

Pomeranz was awful last night--I wish the O's were facing him in the upcoming series. We're going to need a lot more than one run against Porcello this time around.

The problem w/ Pomeranz is coming to light: innings. In much the same way w/ Bundy: innings.

Still, the Red Sox have him in: 2017 and 2018. And have to imagine he'll be better next year now that he's built up innings and familiarity with the division.

You did see that he was on inflamatories when traded?

I still think it's an AL East thing. Not everyone can pitch in this division. I told all the Boston people I know here in SD that his ERA would balloon. He's not a bad pitcher it's just that I got the vibe from the type of pitcher he is that his ERA would go up a lot. Big difference and it's showing. I believe his ERA with Boston is something above 4.5?

AL East is hard man. None of those AL West or NL West parks to pitch in.

There is Tampa. Empty, cat-walked Tampa.

Sortable Batting

If you avoid the crowd and the girders, you can hit a lot of Homahs in that joint!
