It is amazing to me the quality they are able to extract in trades like this. They might be giving up this year but they turned Chapman and Miller into pieces that will put them back in contention next year and all they gave up was junk prospects and money to acquire the original assets.

Not going to lie, wish the O's took the yankess approach last year and had traded all the upcoming free agents who had value like O'Day, Chen, Davis (he was scuffling around trade time last year but would of still held some value)

The yanks despite a winning record know they're a long shot for the playoffs.

Regarding this year, O's ain't trading anyone so people need to accept it. Despite the recent lackluster play they're half a game out. I expect DD to be making some moves soon whether we agree on the trades or not.

The Yankees gamble on Miller and Chapman and against themselves has paid off bigly!

I truly cannot believe how the MFY's are fleecing these teams...so frustrating to watch!!!!!

Edit: been calling for O's to trade Brach and now I really wish they did. Prob could have gotten a great SP prospect given this insanity.

Yep, NOVA and/or CC would make sense but I would not trade with them at this point, BIG PASS. Cashman looks like the golden goose right now.

MFY's trade Miller to Indians. Another good haul. Ugh.
