I think it is pretty universal here every year when Big Ben McDonald fills in on the radio or TV how really great he is to listen to. I just listened to a couple of innings while driving home from dinner and I just am floored how good he is. I know he is still raising his family and that is why he doesn't do it full time but I hope Oriole management signs him up to be on as much as possible when he feels the time is right.

Amen. Caught the inning on the radio where Manny drove in 2 with an opposite field hit...Ben called the pitch sequence and the hit before it occurred. Joe Angel was heaping praise on him. Wish he could do the games with Gary when Palmer can't or visa versa.

Also love listening to Ben and Joe on the radio together. I caught part of the game on the radio last night. It sounded like he said after this series he will next be on the air when the team returns from this road trip.
