Why does Buck keep starting Reimold against LHP?

Two things that seem contradictory, and probably are contradictory - but I think are true anyway:

1) This team has overachieved

2) This has been Buck's worst season as Orioles manager

I think I get what you are trying to say. The fact that Buck has them in the playoff race with the starting staff is amazing. Yet, the way he has used Reimold as a defensive replacement and such, is puzzling. In hindsight having two DH's in Trumbo and Alvarez has not worked. Trumbo's offense has been largely offset by a lack of any range in the OF. Again, the O's were a bit of an experiment this year--having poor starting pitching and defenses prowess for power bats. Let's see how it ends...

Can anyone explain this? Reimold has been absolutely terrible against LHP this year, all season long.

We are in the middle of a playoff chase, why keep running a liability out there? Buck has other options...

I prefer he play Kim. It does seem like Nolan has an in no matter what. Maybe it's the owner. Seems Kim is the odd man out now.
