Not a big demand for C's either. We could get by with Joseph and Pena/Wynns/Sisco next year and use that 8 million elsewhere.

If I remember correctly, aren't the Brewers the only other team looking for one, other than the Rockies?

You would likely need another team's catcher to get hurt at this point to create demand for a Castillo trade.

It has to suck especially on this team. The guys seem really close. I remember when Gonzales was rumored to be in trades for Lester, they interviewed him and you got the feeling he was begging not to be traded.

I love Derek fisher but he doesn't fit well with what we need.  He need a 3b or SS and pitching.  Moran and Martes would be what I ask for.   I am not sure Martes in a starter though.
