Texas is going to need a first baseman next year, and it would probably be cheaper to get Trumbo than to sign Alonso.

Texas will be using Ronald Guzman next year. He's had a very nice year in AAA. No ta huge ceiling but could be a decent 1B.

I agree with MDT. Davies era, while it is a full run lower than Miley's (who sucks), the conversion to the AL East would more than make up that 1 run. Look at Miley as an example. Was a decent pitcher in the NL, a waste in the AL. The fact that never should have been acquired, is another story.

A big move would be to trade someone off the 25 man roster. And the Orioles will definitely do that.

The players, making up 3/4 of our roster would, not qualify as a "big move". 

Not sure why you guys are looking yet. Wait until the last possible moment to look. That's what Duquette does, bargain shops, last minute.
