How many times have you seen a runner touch the 1B on routine ground balls? Touch, not hit their heel twice in a week and a half?

What does that have to do with anything you quoted?

I didn't say Manny did or did not do it intentionally.

I was just pointing out some of the same posters that were defending Manny are now attacking him for the same sort of stuff.

He busted his ass scoring from second the other day. Last night, he advanced to third and made it on the strength of a head-first dive, making sure to hold on to the bag.

Later, he runs as hard as he can, takes an extra-long stride in an attempt to beat the throw to first, loses control of that stride, and gets accused of playing dirty. Can't win.

Manny's made some mistakes, but now it seems the guy doesn't get a fair shake.

First of all, how many time have you seen him not hustle this year as in O?

Second, he stared at what he thought was a HR and did not run hard in the World Freak'n Series!

Third, I don't know what you looking at but, I don't see him losing balance on that play, that was intentional (and the second time he's done that in this WS!).

Look, I'm not saying that he's a horrible person, and there are plays (such as the 1st slide into 2nd against MIL) which some people thought was dirty which clearly weren't.  But you set yourself up for this kind of stuff when you pull this crap.

The first incident at first base was in the NLCS, not the World Series, and he hooked Aguilar's foot from the front; he did not step on his ankle.

He's not the first ballplayer or celebrity to make mistakes. I hope he grows up soon.

I do not want the Sox to win.  They are going to because they are the best team in baseball and recently, the best team has won the World Series.  But the last thing I want is to see the most spoiled sports region in the entire country claim what would be an 11th major title in the last 18 years.

I don’t think I can handle Manny Machado’s smarmy looking face next to the commissioners trophy

I wonder if LA will want to sign Manny to a huge contract when he carries the label of a dirty player with all the you tube videos to prove it?

I think they won't want to sign him to a huge contract and it won't be because of his questionable actions.

They don't need him, not at what he will cost.

Quote

Machado left the clubhouse with a blue cap backwards on his head that read “Villains,” the L.A. logo emblazoned into the word. But he is not publicly embracing that persona

Pearce was in Machado’s wedding, his daughter the flower girl. Machado said the brush was accidental — clumsiness from exhaustion.

“It’s late in the year,” Machado. “My legs are giving out.”

No player or even person tries to step on a guy’s ankle to hurt the other person.  There is much greater chance that Manny roles his ankle or breaks it stepping on Pearce’s foot then hurting Pearce.  You ever watch basketball one guy’s foot planted on ground other guys running or striding or landing on other guy who gets hurt every time not the guy whose foot is planted.
