Love seeing the Yankees fans freaking out. Hard to believe but they only have one WS title since 2001. Obviously I’d take their future over ours but I’m going to love the pressure if these guys don’t win the pennant or go all the way.

In that regard, it’s been a good 18 years.     But considering our team’s performance in that window, not that good. 

Here are the longest gaps Yankee fans have had to endure:

1903-22 (20 years)

1979-95 (17 years)

1963-76 (14 years)

2010-18 (9 years)

2001-08 (8 years)

We are at 35 years and counting.

Expectations are World Series or bust every year and the Yankees haven’t lived up to expectations for nearly 20 years now.

Right. I’m gonna be 32 this summer. Still have never seen one.
