That would be typical, wouldn't it? Maybe a drop in velocity was partly responsible for his bad 2018 season after the great 2017 season.

What are they going to learn giving him an IBB?  Not like the O's need to play close to the vest and win this one.  Man up and give the guy a chance at the record.

Do these guys look like they could “man up?”  And what do you learn letting the same guy kick the crap out of you every AB?  Is that good for self confidence?  Isn’t it better to have a shred of success?  Let somebody else serve up embarrassing records.

FWIW, that low pitch was a strike on GameDay. The top quarter of the ball hit the bottom of the zone.
