Perhaps.  But I don’t know that the Dodgers or Angels are going to follow the Yankees much farther up that ladder.

IMO, Winter Meetings used to be the highlight of the off season with a lot of fan interest. Trades, rumors, FA signings and so on. Now, it seems like another day in the off season. As McPhail's statement of percolating now has gone down to bean roasting. MLB just plods along. Lousy PR IMO.
