But Nunez didn't even have to catch it.   He just had to block it and the run wouldn't have scored (yet).   Or if they could have gotten the lead runner on the play before the run wouldn't have scored (yet).

So a lot had to go wrong beyond just RIo's bad throw for that run to score.
