As I posted in another thread yesterday, this series is huge.

No 1 game playoffs the day after the season...tiebreakers are used.   Head to head is first and we are currently 3-3 vs the Yankees.

If we lose 3 of 4, we are 3.5 games back of the Yankees with just 14 left, and, they would have the tiebreaker so we would essentially be 4 games back.  Our playoff hopes would be very, very dim.

If we split 4, we would be 1.5 games back of the Yankees.  We would be 5-5 against them, and the next tiebreaker is division record.   They are currently a bit better than us there.  So they woud likely have the tiebreaker, so we would essentially be 2 games back.   Not out of it but not looking good.

If we win 3 out of 4, we would be a half game ahead of the Yankees, 1 in the loss column.  But WE would have the tiebreaker so essentially we'd be 2 games up.   Things woudl be getting real.

So this series will likely decide whether we are a contender the rest of the way or not.

1-2-3 inning for Cole, but GameDay described Mullins and Iglesias outs as lineouts (to 2B & CF) so maybe we hit the ball hard?

Mullins' was, STRAIGHT at the CFer. Didn't see Iggy's.
