The Orioles Players' Response ...... ) "Well, why didn't you say so ??? If you had given us that information 3 weeks ago, we would be 20-0 right now instead of 8-12."

At least Franco and Severino weren’t at the meeting, I guess.

The As radio guys are wondering whether the error should be on Franco or Severino but definitely an error on somebody...

It's like watching an ace pitch for the Orioles.   I'd forgotten what that was like.   I love how quickly he works too.

Means works so fast, he reminds me of Fergie Jenkins, who would get the ball back and throw it. Always looked like he was in a hurry to get to the bathroom.

It would be absurd to give the error to Severino.   The ball went off Franco's glove and Severino was 10 feet away.   In 50 years of watching baseball I have never seen an error given for "should have called the other guy off".   And even that is debatable.   Because the ball started out so close to 3rd before the wind drove it in, it was Franco's from the start.   If Severino had tried to be aggressive and go after it he might well have made things more difficult for Franco and it wouldn't have been easy for him either.

Yea, I think they should give it Sisco.

Oh I think they were joking, they were implying that he wasn’t backing up the play, or something like that, yes the error is clearly on Franco, Although I don’t think they’ve called it yet, and they might, because it was a foul ball after all
