Interesting... They forgo the DH and let Ohtani hit (of course...) I guess they can't have a DH AND Ohtani hit at the same time.

 

 

 

Now that I think of it... of COURSE not scOtt! :rolleyes:  Because one of the other 8 players wouldn't be able to bat.

The rule could have been written to allow the DH to replace any defensive player which would have allowed you to say let a pitcher hit and DH for your catcher.

But it wasn't.

I think the game would be a tiny bit more fun if you could.

Could be the slightest bit more fun, but there's so few pitchers who can really hit...
