Limiting damage has been Well's problem in the majors. He's one pitch from getting out of the innings and throws a cookie to Torres for a 2-run homer. So one of these runs should be unearned but they earned the other two.

When will they take defense seriously.

Growing up in the 80’s the defense was something they talked about with pride, seems like not enough players care enough about it.

This Yankee broadcast crew is bad. The color guy is ok. He has positive energy and actually knows something about the other team. The PBP guy is so bad though. He comes across as disinterested. He doesn’t even wanna talk to the color guy.

Where else is he going to play? You have Mountcastle as a fixture at 1B. You want him to be in the field some. See if he can be an option in the OF. Makes him easier to trade.
