Escarra had power but that was about it. 

Nah, he got some love by some of the fans, but he was just a little too stiff and never really brought anything consistent or special to the field. He didn't have enough game power to overcome his mediocre-less than mediocre hit and field tool. 

Escarra had that nice year in Aberdeen but never really was able to hit consistently above there. You have to have a special stick to be a first baseman.

That sucks seeing Janvrin released.  He's the fastest player in our organization.

43 stolen bases and only 4 caught stealing in his career. That's actually remarkable, but unfortunately, he just couldn't hit.

His dad was an Olympic decathlete.  But yes, too bad he couldn't hit well enough.

Ripken isnt on Norfolk this year. Dont know if he got demoted or just not re-signed again.

Not sure I really understood what you were saying here, but Rizer has been playing in Norfolk so far.
