Note:  I am assuming Bautista is not available despite only throwing 2 pitches last night because of his working the last 2 nights and this being a day game, and also that he has worked 4 of the last 5 days.   Remember, when a guy pitches he also throws quite a few warmup pitches in the pen and some more on the mound.   Similarly, Lopez and Tate have worked two nights in a row with a heaver pitchload than Bautista, and they both have gone 4 of the past 6 days, so I am guessing they are not available either.  Perez is probably our closer and probably won't be used unless we get to a save situation, and we are stuck with the other guys after Wells departs.  It isn't a pretty sight.

And while I'm always rooting for the Orioles, if he shoves it up our ass and takes the win here today, I wouldn't be totally upset about it.

Well … you have to laugh at yourself sometimes. I turned on MASN and had volume off for a second. Saw Mullins ground out. Wasn’t paying attention close. Walked out of room. Then I see Zimmerman is pitching. 
 

They are showing last nights game on MASN at the exact same time as this one.

Last night 5-9 in the order was 0-for-19. No baserunners at all and it would have been 0-for-20 but for Mateo's sacrifice. Looking back it's pretty amazing that the O's scored six runs. Need more from them today.
