Yep.  Terrible move.  Of course, Tate deserves blame for walking heim, and Vespi for throwing a god awful two strike pitch.  But you gotta leave Tate in there.

Truth, it was an absolutely garbage pitch, and why he should not be pitching in the 8th inning of a close game. You can not trust a pitcher who will throw a cookie with a three run lead with two runners on in a 2-1 game.
