I went with $80-99.9 million

Elias' alma mater Houston's payroll roughly tripled 2014-2017 and I'm using that as a guide to speculate.  Because it's primarily starting pitching that the O's need in 2023 I'm guessing that the increase is front-loaded, but I wouldn't be surprised to see $120 million plus after the 2024 trade deadline.

A quick 40 days later, is it time to congratulate the 60-79.9 voters?

Eovaldi might be the last $10mm/year guy, so even an Elias late push like Wacha-Belt might not necessarily crack $80mm.

They usually don’t declare the 1500 meter run over at the 1000 meter mark.
