If you had told me that Gallen and Flaherty would give up the same amount of runs (or Gallen one more if O'Hearn scores here), and Gallen would just have pitched two thirds of an inning longer -- I wou ld have signed up for that in a heartbeat!

He was on the postseason roster for the Phillies last year. I’m pretty sure they had him on the roster for every series, he just didn’t pitch very much because they had better options.
