Wow Ortiz just made ANOTHER great play at second.   Either Jackson Holliday or Joey Ortiz will be the starter next year at second base.  We gonna be happy either way.

Good lord if we can get the offense going the playoff pitching is looking promising.  Bradish and Grayson seem remarkably fresh given the length of the season.

It is conceivable that payroll could potentially decrease next season if they don't feel it necessary to replace or resign Gibson and Frazier with any other vet. If we just go next man up, the only increases to payroll will come from player arbitration and paying McCann's final year of his deal.
