Tbh I can derive no Schadenfreude from watching such a valiant and resilient team fall short--especially if it's a mini-payroll brother. But yeah since it wouldn't deprive them of a spot in the postseason it wd be just as cool as simply winning more games than the Rays.

Nah, O's need to win as much as possible.  If we reach the WS, we need home field advantage in it.  Don't think we'll catch Atlanta record-wise, but we can do better than the other NL candidates.
