I reached out to Tony yesterday because I heard the same rumor from a really reliable source. Tony can confirm I reached out to him. This is 100% credible from everything I can tell.

They are willing to spend and spend to win.  Completely changes the outlook of the off season.   Only question mark is how quickly it can be finished

From a private equity fund perspective, a sports team has historically been a good investment.

They would likely run it very P&L, projections/models based.  Textbook modern portfolio theory type stuff around hedging investments.  Which Elias is very fluent in himself.  I think he'd partner well with them.

The idea that it's a investment group is scary from a fan perspective, but when you're coming off Angelos just about anything is an improvement.

I would want them to be significatly better owners not just marginally better.
