Billy Ripken just talked about him wearing #7 on MLB Central. Cal reached out to him about it this morning. Billy said he's cool with it. It's another opportunity for his dad to be mentioned and put him out there again.

That does seem to be where Occam's Razor gets you, based on what we know - Elias goofed and is moving to fix it before it could have a significant impact.
