Kelenic took a few tries but now is starting to show signs in Atlanta.

With a different team and no expectations. Kelenic strikes me as someone who doesn’t handle that kind of pressure well. There are also similarities in that both received national media attention for not making the team out of ST and service time manipulation outrage.

He was really good at going oppo in the minors too. Seems like he's trying to pull everything and is now guessing at the plate.

Maybe because he is worried about catching up to the fastball because of the leg kick.

Not true, hit one hard earlier.

Like Cowser last year, he’s hit some hard hit balls right at defenders. People just don’t wanna see that though.

C'mon now. He's hit a few balls hard at people for sure, but he has a .127 xWOBA, a 86.6 EV, and a .092 XBA. He's been just bad, not unlucky.

He has hit very few balls hard and is striking out at over a 50% rate.  And the line out wasn’t productive.  No one was moved up a base by it.

So you’re saying the only way to measure an out is if someone moved up a base or not?

Remember the days with O'Day, Miller, and Britton.  The game would be over with a lead in the 7th.  We are far way from that.  Hopefully Irvin can get us 1 more inning.

Right now he's not catching up to anything hard so I can see what he's cheating and guessing at this point. Right now he's in shock mode. He's getting into an embarrassing historically bad start to a major league career. It's sad to see.

He's just not ready. There is no redeeming fact to his offensive game right now. I was saying give him to May 1st, but he might set a futility record if they do that.

He said productive at bats.  A productive at-bat normally is one where you advance the runner. Yes he has hit a few balls hard and been unlucky a few times.

I don't know if you just in a troll mood, or just messing around at this point, but you are definitely too smart to think this way.
