They should be looking for offense … maybe a deal for Kirby and in return they pick up a bat  or two, and a lesser starter like Irvin or Kremer

We can always worry about the effect of throwing so many splitters and maybe his arm won’t bounce back and he gets bombed next time.  Right?

Just watched a video about the resurgence of the splitter yesterday.  No real proof it does more damage.

Kremer is perfectly fine as the 4th starter. But obviously right now he's really the 3rd and next year he's the 2nd.

Correct, they need to monitor Kremer while doing the same with other teams’ pitchers
