The Orioles front office and management are reluctant to push starters up to match up series. Not a great idea to throw your ace on short rest to get an extra game this early in the season. Especially with the injuries we’ve already endured on the season.

It tough on a pitcher to get 5 or 6 outs.  The 2nd inning he gave up a run because we turned a slow double play.  The 3rd inning an infield hit and error a bloop, a walk another error, another infield grounder force play.  He hasn’t been sharp with command but it been mostly weak contact and awful defense.
