This has the looks of a team that is exhausted and desperately needing a break. I don't think this is an excuse, that's the nature of the sport. You play (nearly) every day, travel across the country, for six months. If you can't do that, then you can't play.

But that's what it looks like, and the exhaustion is more mental than physical.
