I have to admit, it's kind of a downer seeing Zaun come up to bat.

He'll come around... or they'll bring up Wieters, one of the two.

There's one guy who's lack of offense I can live with in return for what he's given us behind the plate. He's a breath of fresh air vs. what we suffered through last year, IMO.

Zaun can't get it done with 2 outs. Only 4 hits for him on the season, but all doubles, while Wigginton has 0 extra base hits

After watching Wiggy look lost at the plate, at least Zaun tried to do something with that ball, he's just a bit limited in his abilities at the plate. He recognized that all he could do with that pitch was try to flick it down the 3B line, just didn't get quite enough on it. Thats WAY more encouraging than Wiggy's approach. And our expectations are a lot higher for him than Zaun as well.
